Band Fees
These fees are crucial to the operation of the SME band program, as
district/building funds only cover the most basic expenses. Some of the expenses the band fees cover are, but are not limited to:
a. Music, equipment, and transportation
b. Marching/Jazz/Concert festival entry fees
c. Food/Refreshments for road trips and festival
d. Clinician and music specialist fees
SME Band Fee Chart

| General Band Fees | Marching Band + Spring Ensemble | $200 |
| Partial Band Fees | Cadet (Freshman) Band + Spring Ensemble, or 1 ensemble only | $100 |
| Percussion Fees | Any percussion student. These are in addition to general or partial band fees | $75 |
| Marching Shoes new | Freshmen, new members or returning members | $25 |
| Marching Shoes used | Limited supply. Please mention at registration/uniform fitting | $10 |
| Womens Concert Top | Symphonic Band Only | $40 |
| Mens Tuxedo Shirt | Symphonic Band Only | $20 |
| Official SME Band T-Shirt | Required for all members. Upperclassmen and families wishing to purchase additional shirts may do so $5 |
All fees are due by Friday. August 2nd 2019
Please do not let financial concerns discourage you from participating in band. We are happy to
make payment arrangements or discuss options with you. Please contact Gwen Wurst and Kelly
